The Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure (SRI) Program at MBUST offers MAS and PhD programs focused on developing infrastructure that is safe, sustainable, and disaster-resilient. The program emphasizes research-driven solutions using advanced engineering, locally adapted materials, heritage preservation, and community-centered approaches. Students gain expertise in resilient rural building structures, sustainable materials, risk-informed planning, and rural tourism infrastructure, preparing them to address Nepal’s unique socio-environmental challenges while promoting inclusive economic growth.
