Dr. Rameshwar Rai

Dr. Rameshwar Rai is a Nepalese Horticultural Scientist,Principal Investigator at Horticulture Laboratory, competent floricultural breeder more than 20 years of experiences in Horticulture.His research expertise primarily focuses on floricultural breeding, particularly Lilium genetics and cultivar development, organic horticulture, kiwifruit production systems, agroecology, and climate-resilient agriculture. He has extensive experience in research, teaching, curriculum development, postgraduate supervision, and agricultural consultancy.Dr. Rai has made significant contributions to lily breeding research through his doctoral and postdoctoral studies in the Republic of Korea and has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles in national and international journals. His work integrates scientific research with practical agricultural development approaches to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly farming systems in Nepal.
