Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology (MBUST) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Chang-Hee Lee, an IEEE Fellow and internationally recognized expert in photonics and optical communications, as Distinguished Professor of Photonics and Digital Systems in the Digital Technology Program under the Institute of Applied Sciences. He is expected to join the University soon.

With more than three decades of experience in research, education, and academic leadership, Prof. Lee previously served as Professor and Head of the School of Electrical Engineering at KAIST, one of South Korea’s leading research universities.

His appointment marks a significant step in strengthening MBUST’s research and academic capabilities, particularly in photonics, intelligent systems, and emerging digital technologies. Through his expertise and international experience, Prof. Lee is expected to contribute to advancing research, innovation, and global collaboration at MBUST.
